Proposal for marketing and export channels for hidalguense-style lamb barbecue

Abstract
In this work, a study is carried out that aims to make a proposal for the marketing and export channels of hidalguense-style lamb barbecue, which was developed based on a methodology that allowed defining: Competitive advantages, value network of the product, agents and distribution channels, national and international quality standards, location proposal and points of sale, Benchmarking, packaging, tariff classification, INCOTERMS, export costs and prices, strategic alliances. The information was analyzed with a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative). According to the analysis of the results, it can be concluded that the size of the Mexican market in the state of Baja California in the United States is an incentive to market lamb meat in Hidalgo-style barbecue, in addition, prices seem favorable and costs also Therefore, a much more in-depth study of commercial and production viability is necessary, in order to have as many technical, economic and financial variables as possible under control.
